She's gone.

Mom slipped away a little bit before 5pm this evening. All four of her children were here, her sister was here and Dad was here. Several of us had been in with her talking and laughing. Everyone left the room for a minute. My sister and I were on the bed and Amy left when she heard Kiran crying to be fed. My mom's cousins had just arrived and told me to get some sleep, that they would keep watch. So I fell asleep right there in the room. 

I had begun to think she could never die.
